At Stepping Stones Behavioral Services, our team consists of highly trained professionals, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Together, we are dedicated to prioritizing the success of each child and enhancing the quality of life for the families we serve.

We are also committed to guiding parents and caregivers, empowering them with the knowledge and support they need to effectively nurture and advocate for their children.

Reina Valdez,  MS., BCBA

CEO and Founder

Stepping Stones Behavioral Services was founded by Reina who is a dedicated practitioner in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She obtained her undergraduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior in 2016. 


Discovering her passion for ABA in 2017, Reina has dedicated herself to working with diverse populations, ranging from individuals exhibiting mild to severe problem behaviors. Driven by her fascination with human behavior and a desire to effect meaningful change, Reina pursued further education at Purdue University Global, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019.

Her commitment to promoting socially significant behaviors and enhancing the quality of life for her clients is at the core of her professional ethos. Recognizing the importance of nurturing the next generation of behavior analysts, Reina also provides supervision to individuals pursuing a career in behavior analysis. Through mentorship and guidance, she shares her knowledge and expertise, helping aspiring practitioners develop the skills and competencies necessary for success in the field
